Having healthy, salon-quality hair starts at home with the products you are using. Below I have listed many hair tips to keep your hair in the absolute best shape possible.

- Always keep your heat 360 degrees or lower, with 360 degrees being the absolute max.
- Heat protectant does wonders for keeping your ends healthy. It is a must if heat styling is in your everyday routine.
- Invest in a salon-quality shampoo and conditioner, you'd be amazed at the incredible difference it makes.
- Shampoo ONLY your roots twice and condition your ends for 3-5 minutes.
- Apply pure oil with a dropper (such as rosemary or argon) all over your scalp and comb through, leave on for 30 minutes. Do not leave on for more than 30 minutes once a week. This stimulates hair growth and locks in moisture resulting in noticeable growth.
- Sleep with your hair in a braid or a loose scrunchie pulled away from your face. Make sure you don't lay on your hair when you sleep!
- Invest in a silk bonnet or a silk pillow case to avoid frizz and oil buildup.
- Apply a gentle oil daily to your ends to reduce frizz and smooth split ends.
- Clean up your ends every 8-12 weeks, even if it means just dusting the split ends before they split all the way up. Trims = hair growth
- Don’t tug your hair and always use two hands when pulling your hair out of a ponytail.
- Do not use tight ponytails, that’s one of the biggest parts of noticeable breakage.
- If you’re a blonde be careful with over-doing the lightening. Make sure to take ample breaks in between lightening and keep up with hair care at home including hydrating masks and extra babying your hair.
- At home hair care is so important! Be aware of do’s and don’t’s when it comes to your hair texture, previous history, and hair goals.
